I grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and graduated in 1995 from Shippensburg University with a B.S. degree in Marketing. As president of the Shippensburg University Marketing Club, I received national recognition for Outstanding Membership Activities.

My passion is running and pushing myself to see what I am capable of as I have run a number of marathons and ultras.  In April of 2008, I started organizing the Virginia Beach Running Meetup Group which as grown tremendously under my leadership, recruitment and marketing skills. As the running group grew and the coverage area expanded, the name was changed to Hampton Roads Runners. On January 1st, 2009, an article was published in the Beacon about the group. We strive to promote running in the community, so when I am not assisting my clients in buying or selling homes, I can be found running and training for races.  On May 4th, 2009, I was recognized as the Meetup.com organizer for the week out of 61,625 Meetup groups worldwide.  In 2011, I qualifed for the Boston Marathon in 2013 under the new qualifying standards.

Otherwise, you may find me on the volleyball court as I play volleyball on the beach and at The Fieldhouse or volunteering in the community at a project or event.

Work experience includes:

  • Customer service manager with a major electronics retailer
  • Outside sales of office furniture
  • Manufacturer's rep  - Athletic flooring sales through architects, contractors, schools etc.

In 1999, I chose to relocate to Virginia because of the hospitality of the people, warm weather, and the beach. With my marketing background, work experience, and integrity, I will provide dedicated service to help you sell your present home or, find the  right new home in the South Hampton Roads area. I can make the difference! With over 8 years of experience helping local buyers and sellers just like yourself, I know how to locate the finest properties and negotiate the best deals. It's my job to know about the latest market conditions, government regulations, and upcoming developments — so that you don't have to.

Buyers' Representation

As your Accredited Buyer's Representative, we can make the process of house hunting much easier and more efficient than if you did it all yourself. As you start the process I  can help you get financing, guide you to local neighborhoods, help you determine your budget, and prioritize a list of essential features that you need in your next home.  I will save you valuable time by finding the properties that best suit your requirements, and will show you only the most promising ones.

Once you've found a place that catches your eye, I will look at comparable properties in the area to help determine a purchase offer. Then I will negotiate on your behalf with the seller to make sure you get the most favorable terms. It's my job to look after your best interests!

Sellers' Representation

Selling a house on your own can be an overwhelming task. There's advertising to plan and budget for, open houses and private showings to arrange, purchase offers to negotiate, contract contingencies to worry about, and complicated paperwork to fill out. First, I will perform a comparable market analysis to determine the most appropriate price for your home. Once an agreement is reached to list your home I will provide home staging advice and suggest landscaping changes that will help draw buyers in. We will advertise your home through a variety of methods, including local publications and online MLS listings. We may even showcase your home as part of our site's Featured Listings.

When it comes to negotiating a purchase offer, I make sure that you get the best price the market will allow, help you understand contract contingencies, and details of the closing process, in addition to handling all the paperwork for you. Essentially, I am here to represent you throughout the entire selling process, and to make sure that your real estate transaction is a positive and profitable experience.
